Topic: Annihilation is not a perfect movie nor is it easy to recommend. It definitely does have weaknesses in having a consistent, logical narrative and developing character resulting in a movie that may possibly come off as boring and pretentious. Focusing on and developing the thematic elements are the focus of this movie and it does it well. It did make us think about many things and we need more movies like that despite it's flaws.
